How to get from Bologna Guglielmo Marconi Airport to the city of Bologna

Train

The monorail Marconi Express train connects the airport to Bologna Centrale railway station. Trains run every 7 minutes at pick times, the ride lasts 7 minutes, too. Passengers arriving at Bologna airport will have to follow the directions to Marconi Express, which will take them to the First Floor of the Terminal, and from there to the walkway connecting with the train station.

Taxi

Taxi can be more convenient option if your hotel in Bologna is far from the train station, or if you have huge bags to carry. The cost of a taxi from the airport to a central location in Bologna is about 20€. Depending on where you need to go and the traffic, it takes 15 to 30 minutes. Be aware that Italian cabbies usually do not speak English, therefore it might be useful to have your exact drop off address written in Italian language.

Uber

Uber operates in Bologna only with its Uber Black service (executive cars suitable for maximum two passengers).
