Turin Airport (TRN), also known as Aeroporto di Torino-Caselle, is an international airport located in Caselle Torinese, 16 km northwest of the city of Turin in the Piedmont region of northern Italy . It is also named Sandro Pettini Airport after the former president of Italy.

Turin Airport is one of the 100 busiest airports in Europe (98th place). In 2021, it served 2,066,106 passengers.

How to get from Turin Airport to Turin city center

Train

GTT trains connect Turin-Caselle Airport with Torino Porta Susa Train Station. The airport train station is located a few meters before the airport terminal on the arrivals level.

As of March 2022, due to engineering reasons, the train only runs between Caselle Airport and Venaria train station. The Venaria - Torino Porta Susa connection (and vice versa) is guaranteed by the SF2 bus line, with departures coinciding with the train's arrival at Venaria station. The combined ticket price is EUR 3.20.

Bus

The bus connection between Turin Airport and Turin city centre is guaranteed every 15-30 minutes. These stops include Borgaro Torinese, Piazza Stampalia (GTT station), Via Livorno on the corner of Corso Umbria, Porta Susa train station and Porta Nuova train station. Travel time is 45-50 minutes.

The fare is EUR 7.00 one way (+ EUR 1.00 to be paid on board). Departure point: Arrivals area (first floor). Ticket machines are located in the arrivals hall; tourist information and sales points in the arrivals area.

Taxi

Uber is not available in Turin, therefore you will have to use local cab providers if you want to get from Turin Airport to Turin by taxi. The public taxi rank is located at the exit of the Arrivals level. The taxi fare is about 50€ to reach downtown Turin, and the travel time is approximately 30 minutes.
