10 years ago, in Moscow, a new company has been founded with a clear mission: to meet foreign customers’ transportation needs. At the very beginning, the company operated with only two English-speaking drivers. One of them was Nicolas Khramov, company founder and CEO. On July 19, 2009 WelcomeTaxi performed its first transfer from Moscow Domodedovo Airport to the city center for a couple of Italian tourists.

Today WelcomeTaxi operates in 6 countries, 16 cities and 21 airports, providing foreign customers with private airport transfers, hourly hire chauffeur service and private tours with English-speaking drivers. Unlike many transfer aggregators, we have a different approach: we do not outsource transportation services to local companies, but instead we cooperate with individual drivers in every city. It gives better control possibilities, allowing us to maintain the same service standards from city to city and from country to country.

Within the end of the year we plan not only to open new WelcomeTaxi destinations within Europe and Asia, not only to offer new services like shared taxies and airport shuttles, but also to launch a new project offering transportation services with Russian-speaking drivers throughout the world.
