Starting from the 4th of January WelcomeTaxi changes the structure of its tariffs in Moscow. Instead of one Standard class two new tariffs are being introduced: the Economy class and the Comfort class.
In the Economy class all the automobiles of the Subcompact car and Compact car segment are combined, according to the American market classification. That is the part of the A-segment, segment B and C, according to the European market classification. In particular, that are such models as Audi A3, Chevrolet Cruze, Chevrolet Lacetti, Citroën C4, Daewoo Nexia, Ford Focus, Honda Civic, Hyundai Elantra, Hyundai i30, Kia Cee'd, Mazda3, Mitsubishi Lancer, Nissan Almera, Opel Astra, Renault Logan, Renault Mégane, Škoda Octavia, Volkswagen Golf, Volvo S40, Chevrolet Aveo, Citroën C3, Daewoo Lanos, Ford Fiesta, Hyundai Solaris, Kia Rio, Volkswagen Polo.
The cost of a minimum city ride by the Economy class is 500 rubles per 5 km, then 45 rub/km at daytime, and 450 rubles per 5 km, then 25 rub/km at nighttime and on weekends. The cost of a transfer from city to airport varies from 1100 to 1400 rubles, depending on the district. Transfer from airport to city will cost from 1400 to 1700 rubles, depending on the district of the destination. Transfer from airport, as well as in the other class tariffs, includes the flight monitor, meeting with a nameplate, an hour of waiting after the actual landing time and the first hour of parking. Chauffeur service (an hourly car rent with driver) in the Economy class costs 750 rubles per hour, 2 hours of rent minimum.
The Comfort class relates to the automobiles that refer to a Mid-size car segment, Entry-level luxury car and Full-size car segments, according to the American market classification. That corresponds to the D-segment and a part of the E-segment, according to the European market classification. In particular, the Comfort class includes: Citroën C5, Ford Mondeo, Honda Accord, Hyundai i40, Hyundai Sonata, Kia Magentis, Kia Optima, Mazda6, Nissan Altima, Nissan Primera, Opel Signum, Renault Fluence, Toyota Camry, Volkswagen Passat, Audi A4, BMW 3 Series, Infiniti G-series (Q40/Q60), Infiniti Q50, Lexus IS, Mercedes-Benz C-Class, Opel Insignia, Volvo S60,
Renault Latitude, Škoda Superb B6 (3T).
The cost of a minimum city ride by the Comfort class is 600 rubles per 5 km, then 50 rub/km at daytime, and 550 rubles per 5 km, then 30 rub/km at nighttime and on weekends. Transfer from any place of Moscow within the ring road to any Moscow airport costs 1500 rubles, transfer from any airport to any Moscow district within the ring road – 1800 rubles. Chauffeur service will be 800 rubles per hour, 2 hours of rent minimum.
At the same time an English-speaking driver bonus is raised from 200 rubles to 500 rubles, being added to the total ride sum.
As a consequence of new tariffs introduction, the cost of a minimum city ride in WelcomeTaxi lowered by 35%, and the transfer cost lowered almost by 39%.
Let us notice that by the end of New Year holidays (up to the 10th of January inclusive) nighttime tariffs will be valid.
