Catania-Fontanarossa Airport (CTA), also known as Vincenzo Bellini Airport, is an international airport located 4.3 km (2.6 mi) southwest of Catania, the second largest city in Sicily, Italy. It is named after the Catania-born opera composer Vincenzo Bellini.

How to get from Catania–Fontanarossa Airport to Catania city centre

Alibus Shuttle

For those travelling alone or on a budget, AMT Alibus offers a Catania airport shuttle service from Catania International Airport to the city centre and Catania Centrale train station. The bus runs every 25 minutes from 04:40 to 00:30. Buses to the city center usually take about 20 minutes. Good to know that taxi prices in Sicily vary depending on whether they travel during the day, night or weekend. A taxi from Catania airport to the city will cost around 25 euros during the day and around 28 euros for a night or weekend trip, depending on traffic. Additionally, Catania taxis charge a surcharge of EUR 1 per bag, which is then added to the total price.
