FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
How far in advance should I book a ride?
Your transfer or hourly hire service should be booked at least 72 hours in advance. If you don't have that much time, you can book an urgent transfer. We will inform you as soon as possible whether we can provide the service or not.
What pick-up time should I specify for transfer?
If you require a transfer from an airport or railway station, we recommend that you specify your flight or train arrival time as the start of your transfer. This will make it easier for the driver to organize the meeting.
If you require a transfer from a hotel to an airport, please state the time you wish to be met at reception. You will need to calculate the departure time by yourself. We recommend that you add 3 hours for airport check-in to the time of the ride. The approximate time the driver will need to arrive at the airport is shown on the booking page. For example, if your flight departs at 14:00 and the transfer time is 1 hour, the pick-up time should be 10:00.
How do I know if my order has been accepted?
Once you have submitted the booking, you will receive an e-mail with detailed information about your booking, all the relevant information for your trip and with order status as "Waiting".
As soon as we receive and register your payment, your order status will be changed to "Accepted" and you will receive another email with the new order status.

How do I change my booking?
To change your booking, please contact our support at office@welcome.taxi.
Important note: Changes in your order requested less than 72 hours before the trip may be declined.
How can I cancel my booking?
There are two ways to cancel your booking:
- Via the booking page at our web site entering in the respective form field the cancellation number provided in the booking voucher, at least 72 hours before the trip.
- By contacting our support team, if it is less than 72 hours before your ride.
Important note: In case of urgent cancellation, we will not be able to refund the deposit. The free cancellation period is stated in the e-mail.
What should I do if my flight is delayed?
If your flight is delayed by less than 30 minutes, the driver will adjust their arrival time.
If you become aware of a longer flight delay, please inform the driver by calling the phone number provided to you or contacting Customer Support via e-mail at office@welcome.taxi.
Provide the order number and the new arrival time.
Important note: The driver may request an additional fee for extra waiting time.
How will I find my driver?
For airport transfers, if you added meet-and-greet option to your order, the driver will meet you at the arrivals area exit. It is located after the passport control and the baggage claim areas. Your driver will meet you with a nameplate displaying the first and last names you provided during the booking, or any other text you provided in your booking request.
Important note: We strongly recommend you to add the meet-and-greet option to your airport transfer booking.
For hotel transfers, the driver will wait you in the lobby.
Detailed meet-up instructions can be found in your trip confirmation voucher. It will also include the driver’s telephone number.
How can I be sure that my driver will pick me up?
We guarantee that the driver will make their best to meet you.
The driver will have your phone/WhatsApp number and you will have theirs. Please keep your mobile phone switched on. If you cannot reach the driver, please contact our support team.
I cannot find my driver. What I have to do?
If you can't find the driver, please check the names on the nametags again. The driver may not have noticed when you passed by.
Try to contact the driver by phone/WhatsApp. If the driver did no respond and did not contact you during the meeting time, please contact our support team.
Finally, go to the Information desk to book a taxi from the airport or train station to the city, from the hotel to the airport or train station, or for any other route our driver was supposed to take you.
Important note: If the driver fails to meet you, we will refund your money.
About Naples
Naples is the capital of the Campania region and the third largest city in Italy after Rome and Milan, with a population of 967,069 people (as of 2017) within the city's administrative boundaries. The provincial municipality is the third most populous metropolitan area in Italy with a population of 3,115,320 people.
Naples was founded by the Greeks around 1000 BC, it is one of the oldest continuously inhabited urban areas in the world. In the 9th century BC, a colony called Parthenope was established on Megaride Island. In the 6th century BC it was rebuilt as Neápolis. The city was an important part of Magna Graecia (Greater Greece), played a major role in the fusion of Greek and Roman societies, and was a major cultural center for the Romans.
It was the capital of the Duchy of Naples (661-1139), then the Kingdom of Naples (1282-1816), and finally the Two Sicilies until the unification of Italy in 1861. Naples is also considered the capital of the Baroque period, beginning with the career of the 17th century artist Caravaggio and the artistic revolution it inspired. It was also an important center of humanism and the Enlightenment. The city has long been a global reference point for classical music and opera of the Neapolitan School. Between 1925 and 1936, Benito Mussolini's government expanded and upgraded Naples. Since the late 20th century, Naples has experienced significant economic growth, thanks to the development of the Centro Direzionale business district and an advanced transport network, including the Alta Velocità high-speed railway linking Rome and Salerno, and an expanded metro network. Naples is the third largest urban economy in Italy after Milan and Rome. The Port of Naples is one of the most important ports in Europe. In addition to commercial activities, it is also home to the Allied Joint Forces Command in Naples, the NATO agency that oversees North Africa, the Sahel and the Middle East.
Naples' historic city center is the largest of its kind in Europe and has been declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. How to get from the city of Naples to Naples International Airport
Bus
If you're traveling alone or on a budget, the Alibus Shuttle might be a good choice for you. The Alibus Shuttle departs from Piazza Garibaldi (Napoli Centrale train station) . A one-way ticket only costs EUR 5, and buses leave every 20 to 30 minutes from 6:00 am to 11:00 pm. You can buy your ticket directly from the bus driver, or from the tobacco stores or newsparer kiosks. The total travel time to Naples Airport from Piazza Garibaldi is approximately 15 minutes.
Taxi
Apparently, Uber is unavailable in Naples, in spite of Naple's presence at Uber website. You cannot simply hail a taxi on the street in Italy. Thus, you to take a taxi to the airport, you need to walk with your luggage to the nearest public taxi rank. You can also order taxi by phone, calling one of the local taxi companies. Fixed rate between Naples city center and Naples International Airport is EUR 18. Be aware, that not only taxi drivers but even the phone operators may not always be able to speak English.
