Frequently Asked Questions
How far in advance should I book a ride?
We recommend booking your transfer or hourly hire service at least 72 hours in advance. If you don’t have that much time, you can request an urgent transfer — we’ll let you know as soon as possible whether we can confirm it.
What pick-up time should I specify for the transfer?
If your transfer starts from an airport or railway station, please specify your flight or train arrival time as the start of your transfer. This helps the driver organize the meeting more accurately.
If your transfer starts from a hotel to an airport, please indicate the time you wish to be picked up at reception. You’ll need to calculate it yourself, allowing extra time for check-in. We recommend adding about 3 hours before your flight’s departure. For example, if your flight leaves at 14:00 and the trip takes 1 hour, your pick-up time should be 10:00.
How do I know if my order has been accepted?
After submitting your booking, you’ll receive an email with all trip details and your order status as “Waiting”. Once we receive and confirm your payment, the status will change to “Accepted”, and you’ll receive another email confirmation.
If you don’t receive the confirmation email, please contact our support team at office@welcome.taxi.
How do I change my booking?
To make changes to your booking, please contact our support team at office@welcome.taxi.
Important note: Requests for changes made less than 72 hours before your trip may be declined.
How can I cancel my booking?
You can cancel your booking in two ways:
- Via the booking page on our website — use the cancellation number provided in your booking voucher, at least 72 hours before the trip.
- By contacting our support team if it’s less than 72 hours before your ride.
Important note: In case of urgent cancellation, we may not be able to refund your deposit. The free cancellation period is stated in your confirmation email.
What should I do if my flight is delayed?
If your flight is delayed by less than 30 minutes, the driver will adjust their arrival time automatically.
If the delay is longer, please inform the driver directly (their phone number is in your confirmation voucher) or contact WelcomeTaxi Customer Support at office@welcome.taxi. Please include your order number and the new arrival time.
Important note: The driver may charge an additional fee for extended waiting time.
How will I find my driver?
For airport transfers, if you’ve added the meet-and-greet option to your order, the driver will meet you in the arrivals area — right after passport control and baggage claim. You’ll see a name sign with your first and last names (or custom text, if specified in your booking).
Important note: We strongly recommend adding the meet-and-greet option to your airport transfer booking.
For hotel pickups, the driver will wait for you in the hotel lobby. Detailed meeting instructions and your driver’s contact number are provided in your booking confirmation voucher.
How can I be sure that my driver will pick me up?
WelcomeTaxi guarantees that your driver will do their best to meet you on time.
Both you and the driver will have each other’s phone or WhatsApp number. Please keep your mobile phone switched on at the time of pickup. If you can’t reach the driver, contact our support team immediately.
I can’t find my driver. What should I do?
If you can’t find your driver, please double-check the name signs again — the driver may have missed you in the crowd.
Try calling or messaging the driver via WhatsApp. If there’s no response within the meeting time, contact our support team.
If necessary, go to the airport’s Information Desk to arrange a local taxi to your destination.
Important note: If the driver fails to meet you, we will refund your payment.

Airport Transfers and Chauffeur Service in Hammamet
Hammamet is one of Tunisia's best-known resort destinations, combining Mediterranean beaches, traditional architecture, hotels, restaurants and a well-established tourism infrastructure. The destination includes the historic town of Hammamet as well as the modern resort district of Yasmine Hammamet farther south along the coast.
WelcomeTaxi provides pre-booked private transfers and chauffeur service in Hammamet for individual travellers, couples, families and groups. Transportation can be arranged between airports, hotels, resorts, private addresses and destinations elsewhere in Tunisia. Booking in advance is particularly convenient when arriving on an international flight, travelling with luggage or staying outside the central town area.
Hammamet Airport Transfers
Hammamet is served by several airports. Enfidha-Hammamet International Airport (NBE) is the closest major airport and is specifically positioned as a gateway for Hammamet and Tunisia's main coastal tourism areas. Tunis-Carthage International Airport (TUN) is another important option, particularly because of its broad range of scheduled flights. Monastir Habib Bourguiba International Airport (MIR) can also be relevant for selected leisure flights and itineraries.
A private airport transfer provides direct transportation from the terminal to the exact hotel, resort or private address in Hammamet. Cars, vans and larger vehicles can be arranged according to passenger numbers and luggage requirements.
Pre-booking is especially useful for families, groups and travellers arriving after a long flight. English-speaking drivers can also make communication easier for international visitors unfamiliar with local transportation.
Enfidha-Hammamet Airport Transfers
Enfidha-Hammamet International Airport (NBE) is the nearest major airport to Hammamet and is located south of the resort area. The airport identifies Hammamet as one of its principal destinations and serves the wider coastal tourism region.
A private transfer from NBE provides direct door-to-door transportation to Hammamet hotels, resorts and private accommodation. This avoids waiting for shared services or arranging additional local transportation after reaching the resort.
The airport is also connected by scheduled bus services with Yasmine Hammamet and other coastal destinations, while private transfers provide greater flexibility over departure time and exact drop-off location.
Tunis-Carthage Airport to Hammamet
Tunis-Carthage International Airport (TUN) is another important gateway for travellers heading to Hammamet. It lies north of the resort and is particularly relevant for passengers whose preferred international flight arrives in the Tunisian capital.
A private transfer from Tunis Airport allows travellers to continue directly to their hotel or resort in Hammamet without first travelling into central Tunis to arrange onward transportation. This can be particularly convenient for families, groups and passengers carrying several bags.
Transfers can also be arranged in the opposite direction for travellers combining Hammamet with a stay in Tunis, Carthage or other destinations in northern Tunisia.
Monastir Airport to Hammamet
Monastir Habib Bourguiba International Airport (MIR) lies farther south and primarily serves Monastir, Sousse and surrounding resort areas. It can nevertheless be relevant for Hammamet when flight schedules make it the most practical arrival airport.
A private transfer from Monastir Airport provides direct road transportation to Hammamet without the need to coordinate several public transport connections. Because the journey is longer than from Enfidha-Hammamet Airport, advance booking is particularly useful for travellers who want the full route arranged before arrival.
Yasmine Hammamet Transfers
Yasmine Hammamet is a purpose-built resort area south of central Hammamet and contains many large hotels, resorts, restaurants, leisure facilities and a marina. Travellers should distinguish between central Hammamet and Yasmine Hammamet when booking transportation, as they are separate parts of the wider resort area.
Private transfers can connect all major airports directly with hotels and resorts in Yasmine Hammamet. Door-to-door service is particularly convenient when arriving with luggage or when the accommodation is located inside a large resort complex.
Getting Around Hammamet
Hammamet has taxis and local public transport for shorter journeys, while buses and other regional services connect the town with destinations such as Nabeul and Tunis. For many visitors staying within the resort area, local taxis are sufficient for simple point-to-point travel.
Private transportation becomes more useful when travelling with luggage, moving between several hotels or attractions, or following a fixed sightseeing or business itinerary. A pre-booked vehicle also provides a convenient option for journeys beyond Hammamet itself.
Chauffeur Service in Hammamet
Hourly chauffeur service is suitable for travellers who need a vehicle for several journeys during the same period. The driver and vehicle can remain available according to the booked schedule for restaurants, shopping, sightseeing, meetings or visits to nearby destinations.
This can be particularly useful for travellers who want to combine Hammamet with Nabeul, Yasmine Hammamet or other locations without arranging a separate taxi after each stop.
Families and groups can reserve vans or larger vehicles so that everyone travels together throughout the itinerary.
Private Transfers Between Hammamet and Nabeul
Nabeul lies close to Hammamet and is an important regional town known for its markets, traditional crafts and coastal setting. The two destinations are often combined within the same stay.
Private transfers can connect hotels and private addresses in Hammamet and Nabeul directly. This is useful for travellers with luggage, hotel changes or appointments requiring a specific pickup time.
Private Transfers Between Hammamet and Tunis
Tunis is one of the most common longer-distance destinations from Hammamet. Travellers may visit the capital for business, sightseeing, onward rail or air connections, or attractions such as Carthage and Sidi Bou Said.
A private transfer provides direct transportation from a Hammamet hotel or resort to an exact address in Tunis. Door-to-door travel can be particularly convenient for families, groups and passengers with luggage who prefer not to combine buses, trains and local taxis.
Transfers to Sousse and Monastir
Sousse and Monastir are important coastal destinations south of Hammamet and can be reached by road for hotel transfers, sightseeing or onward travel. Private transportation is useful when passengers want to travel directly between resorts without returning to an airport or major transport hub.
A chauffeur or multi-stop arrangement can also suit travellers who want to visit several destinations along Tunisia's eastern coast during the same itinerary.
Long-Distance Transfers from Hammamet
WelcomeTaxi can arrange long-distance transfers from Hammamet to destinations elsewhere in Tunisia according to operational availability. Passengers can be collected directly from a hotel, resort or private address and taken to their final destination in the same vehicle.
Private long-distance transportation is particularly convenient for families, small groups and travellers carrying substantial luggage. It can also be useful when the destination is not conveniently served by a direct public transport connection.
For itineraries involving several stops, hourly or multi-stop chauffeur service may provide greater flexibility than a standard one-way transfer.
Why Pre-Book Instead of Taking a Regular Taxi?
Local taxis are widely available in Hammamet and are practical for many short journeys. A pre-booked private transfer is more suitable when transportation begins at an airport, involves a larger group or needs to be confirmed before travel.
Airport passengers can arrange the pickup, destination and required vehicle before arriving in Tunisia. Families and groups can reserve sufficient luggage capacity, while travellers making regional journeys can organise the complete route in advance.
For longer journeys, pre-booking also removes the need to negotiate an intercity trip after entering a local taxi.
Useful Travel Information for Hammamet
Travellers should check the airport code carefully when arranging transportation. Enfidha-Hammamet International Airport (NBE) is the closest major airport to Hammamet, while Tunis-Carthage International Airport (TUN) lies to the north and Monastir Habib Bourguiba International Airport (MIR) lies farther south.
Hammamet and Yasmine Hammamet are part of the same wider tourism destination but are not the same location. Providing the exact hotel or resort name is therefore important when arranging an airport transfer.
When booking private transportation, provide accurate flight information, passenger numbers, luggage requirements and the complete destination address so that an appropriate vehicle can be arranged.
Book a Private Transfer in Hammamet
WelcomeTaxi offers pre-booked transportation for airport arrivals, hotel and resort transfers, chauffeur hire and long-distance journeys from Hammamet. Whether you need a transfer from Enfidha-Hammamet, Tunis-Carthage or Monastir Airport, a private vehicle for several hours or transportation to another destination in Tunisia, your journey can be arranged in advance with a suitable vehicle and professional driver.
