Frequently Asked Questions
How far in advance should I book a ride?
We recommend booking your transfer or hourly hire service at least 72 hours in advance. If you don’t have that much time, you can request an urgent transfer — we’ll let you know as soon as possible whether we can confirm it.
What pick-up time should I specify for the transfer?
If your transfer starts from an airport or railway station, please specify your flight or train arrival time as the start of your transfer. This helps the driver organize the meeting more accurately.
If your transfer starts from a hotel to an airport, please indicate the time you wish to be picked up at reception. You’ll need to calculate it yourself, allowing extra time for check-in. We recommend adding about 3 hours before your flight’s departure. For example, if your flight leaves at 14:00 and the trip takes 1 hour, your pick-up time should be 10:00.
How do I know if my order has been accepted?
After submitting your booking, you’ll receive an email with all trip details and your order status as “Waiting”. Once we receive and confirm your payment, the status will change to “Accepted”, and you’ll receive another email confirmation.
If you don’t receive the confirmation email, please contact our support team at office@welcome.taxi.
How do I change my booking?
To make changes to your booking, please contact our support team at office@welcome.taxi.
Important note: Requests for changes made less than 72 hours before your trip may be declined.
How can I cancel my booking?
You can cancel your booking in two ways:
- Via the booking page on our website — use the cancellation number provided in your booking voucher, at least 72 hours before the trip.
- By contacting our support team if it’s less than 72 hours before your ride.
Important note: In case of urgent cancellation, we may not be able to refund your deposit. The free cancellation period is stated in your confirmation email.
What should I do if my flight is delayed?
If your flight is delayed by less than 30 minutes, the driver will adjust their arrival time automatically.
If the delay is longer, please inform the driver directly (their phone number is in your confirmation voucher) or contact WelcomeTaxi Customer Support at office@welcome.taxi. Please include your order number and the new arrival time.
Important note: The driver may charge an additional fee for extended waiting time.
How will I find my driver?
For airport transfers, if you’ve added the meet-and-greet option to your order, the driver will meet you in the arrivals area — right after passport control and baggage claim. You’ll see a name sign with your first and last names (or custom text, if specified in your booking).
Important note: We strongly recommend adding the meet-and-greet option to your airport transfer booking.
For hotel pickups, the driver will wait for you in the hotel lobby. Detailed meeting instructions and your driver’s contact number are provided in your booking confirmation voucher.
How can I be sure that my driver will pick me up?
WelcomeTaxi guarantees that your driver will do their best to meet you on time.
Both you and the driver will have each other’s phone or WhatsApp number. Please keep your mobile phone switched on at the time of pickup. If you can’t reach the driver, contact our support team immediately.
I can’t find my driver. What should I do?
If you can’t find your driver, please double-check the name signs again — the driver may have missed you in the crowd.
Try calling or messaging the driver via WhatsApp. If there’s no response within the meeting time, contact our support team.
If necessary, go to the airport’s Information Desk to arrange a local taxi to your destination.
Important note: If the driver fails to meet you, we will refund your payment.

Private Transfers from Paris Beauvais Airport
Paris Beauvais Airport (BVA), also known as Beauvais-Tillé Airport, is an important airport for travelers flying to the Paris region, especially on low-cost and leisure routes. Although it is marketed as a Paris airport, BVA is located near the city of Beauvais, north of Paris, in France. This makes transportation planning especially important: the journey to central Paris is significantly longer than from Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport or Paris Orly Airport.
WelcomeTaxi provides private transfers from Paris Beauvais Airport to Paris, Disneyland Paris, hotels, business districts, railway stations and long-distance destinations across France. The service is designed for passengers who want a pre-booked vehicle, clear pickup arrangements and a professional English-speaking driver instead of managing public transport or searching for a taxi after arrival.
About Paris Beauvais Airport (BVA)
Paris Beauvais Airport is widely used by passengers travelling with budget airlines to and from France. It serves international and European routes and is a practical entry point for visitors whose final destination is Paris, Beauvais, Disneyland Paris or another location in northern France.
The key point for travelers is distance. BVA is not located in Paris itself, and the transfer to the capital usually takes much longer than many first-time visitors expect. Depending on traffic and the exact destination, travel time between Paris Beauvais Airport and central Paris can be around 1 hour 30 minutes or more. This is why choosing the right transportation option is an important part of planning your arrival or departure.
Transportation from Paris Beauvais Airport to Paris
There are several ways to travel from Paris Beauvais Airport to Paris. The best option depends on your budget, arrival time, luggage, group size and final address in the city.
Official Airport Shuttle
The official airport shuttle is one of the most common ways to travel between BVA and Paris. It connects the airport with designated points in Paris and is usually timed around flight schedules. For solo travelers with light luggage and a destination near the shuttle stop, this can be a cost-effective option.
However, the shuttle is not a door-to-door service. After arriving in Paris, passengers usually need to continue by metro, taxi, rideshare or another form of transport to reach their hotel, apartment or meeting point. This can be inconvenient after a late flight, with children, large luggage or if the final address is on the other side of the city.
Train via Beauvais
Another option is to travel from the airport to Beauvais railway station and then take a train to Paris Gare du Nord. This route can work for passengers who are comfortable with local transport and do not mind changing between airport shuttle, local bus or taxi and train.
The train option is less direct than a private transfer. It also depends on schedules, ticketing, luggage handling and the connection from Gare du Nord to your final destination in Paris. For visitors unfamiliar with the city, this can make the journey more complicated than expected.
Regular Taxi or Local Transport
Regular taxis may be available at Paris Beauvais Airport, but the long distance to Paris means that the fare can be high. Availability can also vary depending on flight arrivals, time of day and demand. For passengers who need a larger vehicle, a child seat, a business-class car or a van for luggage, relying on an unplanned taxi may not be ideal.
Local transport is useful for Beauvais itself, but it is usually not the most convenient choice for travelers going directly to Paris, Disneyland Paris or another regional destination.
Private Airport Transfer
A pre-booked private transfer from Paris Beauvais Airport is the most convenient option for passengers who want a direct door-to-door journey. Your route, pickup time, destination and vehicle category are arranged in advance. Instead of changing between shuttle, train, metro and taxi, you travel directly from the airport to your hotel, apartment, office or event venue.
This is especially useful for families, business travelers, groups, passengers with large luggage, late arrivals and early departures. It is also a practical solution when the final destination is outside central Paris, where public transport connections may require several changes.
Airport Transfers from BVA to Paris
Private airport transfers from BVA to Paris are suitable for arrivals and departures throughout the year. Paris is a busy destination, and the journey from Beauvais can be affected by road traffic, weather, public events and seasonal travel peaks. Pre-booking your transfer helps make the first or last part of your trip more predictable.
Common transfer destinations include central Paris hotels, private apartments, La Défense, Gare du Nord, Gare de Lyon, Gare Montparnasse, Gare Saint-Lazare and other major railway stations. WelcomeTaxi can also arrange direct transfers from BVA to Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport, Paris Orly Airport and Paris-Le Bourget Airport when passengers need to connect between airports.
For airport departures, a private transfer can be particularly helpful because BVA is farther from Paris than many travelers expect. A planned pickup time reduces the risk of underestimating the journey and arriving late at the airport.
Chauffeur Service from Paris Beauvais Airport
WelcomeTaxi also provides chauffeur service for passengers who need more than a simple point-to-point airport transfer. A chauffeur service can be arranged for business meetings, events, exhibitions, private appointments, shopping trips, sightseeing schedules or multi-stop itineraries in and around Paris.
Hourly chauffeur service is useful when your schedule includes waiting time or several stops. Instead of booking separate rides throughout the day, you can keep a vehicle and driver available for a defined period. This is often more practical for corporate travelers, VIP guests, travel agents and families who want a smoother experience after landing at Paris Beauvais Airport.
Transfers from BVA to Disneyland Paris
Paris Beauvais Airport is sometimes used by families and leisure travelers heading to Disneyland Paris. Although the airport can offer convenient flight options, the road journey to Disneyland Paris is long and not always simple by public transport. A private transfer from BVA to Disneyland Paris avoids multiple changes and gives passengers a direct ride to their hotel or resort entrance.
This can be especially useful when traveling with children, strollers and luggage. Instead of taking a shuttle into Paris and then changing to another train or transfer, passengers can travel directly from the airport to Marne-la-Vallée, Disneyland Paris hotels or nearby accommodation.
Long-Distance Transfers from Paris Beauvais Airport
Because of its location north of Paris, BVA can also be a practical starting point for long-distance transfers in northern France and beyond. WelcomeTaxi can arrange private transfers from Paris Beauvais Airport to regional destinations such as Amiens, Rouen, Reims, Lille, Normandy, Champagne, the Loire Valley and other cities depending on the itinerary.
Long-distance private transfers are useful when the final destination is not easy to reach by direct train or when the journey would otherwise require several connections. They are also suitable for travelers with luggage, sports equipment, business materials or a schedule that does not match public transport times.
For cross-border or multi-city travel, a private transfer can provide a more flexible and comfortable solution than combining airport shuttle, rail services and local taxis. Routes can be arranged according to passenger count, luggage requirements and the specific destination address.
Why Pre-Book a Transfer Instead of Taking a Regular Taxi?
A regular taxi can be convenient for short urban trips, but Paris Beauvais Airport is a long-distance airport transfer rather than a typical city ride. The distance to Paris means that price, availability and vehicle suitability matter more than they would for a short airport-to-city trip.
With a pre-booked transfer, the journey is arranged in advance. You know that a vehicle is planned for your route, and the driver has the pickup and destination details before arrival. This reduces uncertainty and is particularly valuable when landing late, travelling with family or connecting to a hotel, train station, event or another airport.
Pre-booking also makes it easier to choose the right vehicle type. A couple with light luggage may need a standard car, while a family or small group may prefer a van or minivan. Business travelers may choose a higher vehicle category for comfort and presentation. For larger groups, advance planning is essential because suitable vehicles may not be available on demand at the airport.
Local Transportation Specifics at BVA
Paris Beauvais Airport is smaller and more straightforward than CDG, but its distance from Paris changes the overall travel experience. Passengers should allow enough time for road travel, especially before departure flights. Traffic around Paris can be unpredictable, and the journey may be longer during peak hours, weekends, holidays or major events.
If you use the official shuttle, remember that it normally takes you to a specific stop in Paris, not directly to your accommodation. If your hotel is in areas such as Saint-Germain-des-Prés, the Latin Quarter, Montmartre, Le Marais, the Eiffel Tower area or near Gare de Lyon, you will usually need onward transport after the shuttle ride.
For private transfers, it is helpful to provide complete flight details, passenger count, luggage information and the exact destination address. This allows the most suitable vehicle category and pickup plan to be arranged in advance.
